This international conference will tackle a variety of topics including self-determination in the interwar years, the construction of de-centralized and subaltern structures, secession and independent states, irredentism and state concurrence, irredentism and dissident minorities, irredentism and emerging states. The conference will have a panel of 2 Keynote speakers and 13 lecturers who will run through the history of the changing borders of Europe during the interwar period.

Under the title “Europe reframed: regionalisms, sub-state nationalisms and the redrawing of state borders in the interwar period” this international conference will tackle a variety of topics including self-determination in the interwar years, the construction of de-centralized and subaltern structures, secession and independent states, irredentism and state concurrence, irredentism and dissident minorities, irredentism and emerging states.
