We will be holding a two-day workshop on the history of war, medicine and emotion and related topics at the National Army Museum in London on the 1st and 2nd of April 2020.
We are keen to have papers representing a broad chronological, geographical and disciplinary range. We would particularly welcome contributions related to the following themes:
Civilians in war
Experience and reflection
To be considered, please send an abstract of up to 200 words and a short bio to email@example.com by the 1st December 2019. Proposals for panels of three papers will also be considered. All papers should be 20 minutes long.
As the conference is generously supported by the Wellcome Trust, there will be no conference fee. We also have funds available to support a number of travel bursaries for PhD students and Early Career Researchers. To apply for one of these bursaries, please include a 100-word justification with your abstract, telling us how attending the workshop will benefit your career.
