The award committee is seeking nominations or submissions of scholarly articles or book chapters in any field or discipline of Hungarian studies, published in English in 2018 or 2019.

Mark Pittaway Prize for Best Article or Book Chapter in Hungarian Studies

The goal of HSA prizes is to recognize quality scholarship in Hungarian studies. The prize committee particularly encourages submissions of new findings and original scholarship by junior scholars who expand the field and will benefit from the prize early in their careers. The prize is named in memory of historian Mark Pittaway, who passed away in 2010.

All nominations and submissions should be sent to the award committee no later than September 1, 2020.
