Rose Professorship in Holocaust Studies and Jewish History and Culture
Tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant professor

The Department of History and the Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Clark University invite applications for the endowed Rose Professorship in Holocaust Studies and Jewish History and Culture. Specialization in Jewish perspectives of the Holocaust, evidence of scholarly excellence, and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching as well as graduate student mentoring are required. The candidate should have the ability to contribute broad survey courses as well as upper-level courses in their area of specialization to the History Department’s curriculum. The Rose Professor is expected to assume a leading role in shaping the future of the Strassler Center, and to contribute to the Jewish Studies program and other interdisciplinary programs at Clark.

The appointment will be a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin in fall 2020. Ph.D. required by the time of appointment.
