Dear Colleague, We are pleased to announce that the latest issue of German Politics and Society has been published by Berghahn Journals. This special double issue is titled The Importance of Being German: Narratives and Identities in the Berlin Republic. The articles continue a cross-disciplinary conversation that began as part of a three-year research project funded by the German Academic Service (DAAD) at the University of Birmingham. The contributions in this volume suggest worldviews, ways of being, and ways of representing Germany to the world.
