My name is Alba Lombardía González. I am an independent documentary writer and visual researcher based in Paris. Since 2009, I have worked in the field of documentary filmmaking (cinema, television and web) for French television. I am mainly focused on subjects related to History and Social Sciences (contemporary Spain, Nansen passport, slavery…).
I am willing to hire my apartment in the cosy neighbourhood of Bas Montreuil in between June 3rd and July 12th and in between July 19th and August 24th. The apartment is available for the whole period or for some bits of it.
The apartment: 28 m2 composed of 1 living room with a fully equipped open kitchen (pans, little oven, washing machine, cooking spot…) + 1 bedroom + 1 little bathroom. There is a nice light, since the living room bathes in the Eastern sunlight of sun rising in the morning. In the evening, the bedroom receives the sunset light (big window looking towards the West).
Sheets and towels would be included. A big closet would be empty and available to welcome you.
Little and very calm building in a cosy community (8 apartments, we all know each other). Common garden with barbecue and compost spot are available, too. I might send photographs upon request.
5 minutes walk to a cooperative supermarket, market place on a big square 2 days a week.
The location: close to metro stations Robespierre and Croix de Chavaux (line 9), which are at a 5 minutes walking distance. 15 minutes walking distance to Bérault (line 1) and Vincennes (RER A). So, the spot is well connected: 10 minutes away from Nation and 20 to 30 minutes away from the city centre of Paris. 15 minutes walk to the Bois de Vincennes. I might lend you my bike, too.
The price: 25 euros per day (we can discuss the price depending on the length of your stay). A lot of my stuff (books and plants, mainly) might stay at the apartment. I might ask you to take care of them every now and then (watering the plants).
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
