Frühe Neuzeit Interdisziplinär (FNI): Planning for 2005 conference
FNI is an international and interdisciplinary conference group that promotes research and scholarly conversation on the culture, politics and society of German-speaking Central Europe during the early modern Period (ca. 1400-1750).
A major part of the group's activities is the regular conference that takes place every three or four years. We are pleased to announce that planning has begun for the next conference, which will take place at Duke University in North Carolina, USA, in the spring of 2005.
Scholars anywhere in the world who are interested in membership in FNI, in helping plan the 2005 conference, or in participating in the conference, should contact the FNI president, Prof. Randolph C Head of the University of California, Riverside.
We look forward to your contributions to FNI and to the upcoming conference!
