New Working Group on Germany and Poland

If you are working in areas that connect Germany and Poland, we invite you to join the Working Group on Germany and Poland.

This new working group is a collection of scholars from varying disciplines whose work explores the interconnections between Germany and Poland (web: https://sites.google.com/a/uah.edu/wggp/).

The Working Group is dedicated to:

fostering communication and contact among scholars whose work engages the relationship between Germany and Poland historically and in the present

providing mentorship for graduate students interested in topics pertaining to Germany and Poland

facilitating/forming panels at various academic conferences such as the German Studies Association, the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies, and other academic meetings that focus thematically on the Germany-Poland relationship

meeting annually at the GSA conference for the purposes of furthering scholarship, contact, and collegiality

Scholars from all disciplines are invited to join the Working Group. If you are interested in joining, please send an email with the following information to wggp(a)uah.edu:

We will post this information on our membership page so that we can encourage contact between scholars. Members are also part of listserv that helps facilitate communication, especially in terms of upcoming conferences and helping arrange panels.
