The EMMAUS Geschichtswohnprojekt supports postgraduate students and researchers interested in theory of historiography. Fellows participate in the historical research of the host institution.

EMMAUS Postgraduate Fellowship (CJ Munich)

The Fellowship adresses students and researchers in history, humanities, cultural studies and social sciences, who have finished a first academical degree (B.A.) and want to continue their studies, graduation or research in or from Munich / Germany.

It contains a cheap room and free usage of space for living and working and participation in a small supplementary program of colloquia (one evening per week, one full day per month) dealing with methodological questions of history and narratives written and seen from the storys protagonists (invividual, community) "own" perspective.

Standard duration will be 6 or 12 month – next beginning from 1th of October 2020. Other durations can bee agreed.

We kindly ask you to apply in the form of one single PDF-file (max. 30 MB). The application must be formulated in English or German.

It must contain the following elements:

- CV
- Report about academical status and next plannings (1 page DIN A4)
- Cerfiticate of the recent degree
- Letter of motivation
