The fifth annual symposium of the ‘Warwick Network for Parish Research’ on Saturday 19 May 2007 addresses the general theme of ‘Challenges to the Parish’. As on previous occasions, the symposium is committed to long-term, interdisciplinary and comparative approaches to the European parish in the period between c. 1300-1800.

Thanks to the support of Warwick’s Humanities Research Centre, conference costs can be kept to a minimum, i.e. £10 for postgraduates and £20 for all other delegates (incl. lunch and refreshments).

In order to enhance discussion, and preserve an informal ‘seminar’ atmosphere, the number of places is limited, so please send your registration form as soon as possible, and by Friday 30 March 2007 at the latest, to Susan Dibben, Humanities Research Centre, University of Warwick, Coventry CV4 7AL. Cheques should be made payable to ‘University of Warwick’.
