For a volume on memorialisation in Germany since 1945 - due to appear with Palgrave in 2009 - we are still looking for chapters on the following themes.

(a) memorialisation of the Holocaust in West Germany (a comparative piece on East and West Germany would also be possible)
(b) memorialisation of military traditions in West Germany (it would be
good if this could include discussion of both 20 July 1944 commemoration,
and the recent plans to build a memorial in honour of Bundeswehr soldiers)

The contribution should be no longer than 4,500 words, and should reach the editors no later than 1 December 2008. I know this leaves very little time, but we still hope we might find someone able and willing to help out!
