The Summer School will take place at MMU's city centre campus in Manchester and will consist of a series of lectures, workshops, seminars and guided visits delivered by MMU's teaching and research staff. The fast-paced, diverse, and interdisciplinary programme offers an in-depth understanding of Britain, its history, society, culture and contemporary relationship with the wider world.

Programm

The seminar programme addresses a broad variety of topics ranging from British politics and journalism to football, language and popular culture. Classes are combined with visits to the BBC, national museums, film studios and music venues. There is an optional weekend programme which offers BBQs, trips to the Lake District and more.
Admissions are open for all current undergraduate and graduate students having achieved academic grades equivalent to 2.5 USA GPA standard. The fee is £1880 (incl. accommodation).
