Invitations are now open for participation in the above conference to be held at the German Protestant Institute of Archaeology (Augusta Victoria) in Jerusalem. The conference is a joint conference organized by the “Deutscher Verein zur Erforschung Palästinas” and the “Palestine Exploration Fund”. The proceedings will be divided into three sections, ‘Contexts’, ‘Agents’ and ‘Places and Objects’, with invited speakers on the first day and open sessions on the second.
Invited speakers include: Hanswulf Bloedhorn, Rupert Chapman, Felicity Cobbing, Shimon Gibson, David Jacobson, Markus Kirchhoff, Martin Peilstöcker, Rubina Raja and Dieter Vieweger.
Proposals for papers, including name, affiliation, title and abstract (400 words) should be sent to both organizations at the email addresses below:
