Conference in Honour of the late Professor Sir Christopher Bayly to explore his work and legacy

Speakers will include Dr Andrew Arsan (University of Cambridge), PD Dr Christof Dejung (Universität Konstanz) and Professor Ruth Harris (University of Oxford).

Proposals are invited for short interventions of 15 to 20 minutes that engage with the work and legacy of the late Professor Sir Christopher Bayly.

Please send a short abstract (maximum 250 words) and a one page CV by 17th February 2017 to ludmilla.jordanova@durham.ac.uk and james.koranyi@durham.ac.uk.

Themes may include global history, Asian history, Indian history, and empire as well as other topics related to Christopher Bayly’s work.
