£ 20,311 - 25,451 plus £ 2,134 London Allowance 1 year, renewable

The Financial Markets Group at the London School of Economics is looking to recruit a postdoctoral Research Fellow for the academic year beginning in September 2003, to work within the framework of the European Union funded Research Network on: "Financing retirement in Europe: Public Sector Reform and Financial Market Development"

Candidates should have completed or be near the completion of a PhD degree. In addition the European Commission contract specify that applicants must:
- be 35 years of age or under
- be a national of an EU Member State or of an EU-Associated State or have lived in the Community for at least five years prior to his/her appointment
- not be a national of the country where they seek employment, or have worked/studied for more than 12 months of the 24 months prior to appointment in that country
