The collaborative partners of the research profile "Cultures of Compromise" are the Universities of Duisburg-Essen, the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. The research profile aims to explore the socio-economic, political-legal and cultural conditions of compromise in contemporary Western societies as well as in a comparison of epochs and civilizations.
