The Department of History and Civilization invites applications for a chair in the comparative and/or transnational history of 19th and 20th century Europe.

The department emphasizes interdisciplinary teaching and research. We encourage applications from specialists in one or more of the following: Scandinavian, Central / Eastern / South Eastern European History.

Contracts are for five years, renewable for further three years. The Institute is an equal opportunity employer.
