Cinémémoire is currently looking for a young European (between 18 and 30 years old) interested in contemporary history and already mastering English and French language for a EVS project of 12 months starting in March 2017!
Cinémémoire is a cinémathèque which collects amatorial home movies focusing on Marseille, its region and the former French colonies. Its mission is the protection of the audiovisual heritage as well as its promotion and development of a debate about its role in the structuring of a collective identity. Cinémémoire organizes many projects which use audiovisual archives as a tool for pedagogical activities (filming workshops in schools, educational trainings, movie debates) and artistic re-appropriation of the past (cine-concerts, cine-conferences).

Tasks
- organization of a European project connecting many European cinematheques (monitoring, contact with the partners, evaluation).
- assistance for the setting up of pedagogical projects and workshops.
- broadcasting of Cinémémoire cultural projects (ciné-concerts, ciné-conférences) by the constant contact with partners as well as the redaction of an EVS blog.
- indexation of audiovisual archives.

Criteria
- between 18 and 30 years old;
- French level: B2 minimum
- English level: B1 minimum
- motivated – flexible – dynamic, previous international experiences would be very appreciated.
- interest in contemporary history, the concept of historical memory and heritage
