The positions are placed at The Hugo Valentin Centre (HVC), which is an interdisciplinary unit at the Department of History, Uppsala University, with a focus on research and education in two particular fields: first, cultural, social and political phenomena and processes of change related to the ethnic dimension of human life and, second, Holocaust and genocide studies. Research is conducted in a markedly cross-disciplinary environment that brings together researchers with a background in humanities and social sciences.
