Anforderungsprofil:
An der Philosophischen Fakultät, Institut für Geschichtswissenschaften, ist eine
W3-Professur für „Europäische Geschichte des Spätmittelalters“
zum 01.10.2021 zu besetzen.
Die Stelle soll mit einer Person besetzt werden, die die Mittelalterliche Geschichte mit einem Schwerpunkt auf dem Spätmittelalter in Forschung und Lehre thematisch breit, methodisch innovativ, europäisch ausgerichtet und interdisziplinär anschlussfähig vertritt. Erfahrung in der Einwerbung von Drittmitteln wird vorausgesetzt. Erwartet wird überdies die Bereitschaft, sich an interdisziplinären Verbundprojekten und Kooperationen der HU zu beteiligen.
Die Anforderungen für die Berufung gemäß § 100 des Berliner Hochschulgesetzes müssen erfüllt werden.

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Department of History, invites applications for a Full Professorship for
“European History of the Late Middle Ages” (W3)
from 1 October 2021.
The successful candidate will represent the field of Medieval History with a focus on the Later Middle Ages in teaching and research. The person will be able to follow diverse thematic and methodological approaches. His [m,f,d] research will be compatible within interdisciplinary discourse. Experience in raising third-party funds is required. The willingness to participate in interdisciplinary collaborative projects and cooperation is expected.
The applicants must meet the legal requirements for professorial appointments in accordance with § 100 of the `Berliner Hochschulgesetz`.
