Your tasks
The long-term task of the multimedia editor will be to work with the directors, researchers, the IT department, and the public relations office to develop a concept for making the MPI’s research visible and available in multimedia formats. Through the exploration of new forms of anthropological narration, it becomes possible to access and experience research findings in new ways. - support the departments to enhance international visibility by developing and maintaining the digitally available series of “Halle lectures” by eminent scholars
- produce visual/audio material for the website about the MPI’s research activities (i.e. podcasts, video clips, storytelling and short recordings from conferences)
- in collaboration with the IT department, determine the technical requirements for the online media platform and develop a plan for implementation
- in collaboration with the public relations office, develop a communication strategy for the online platform
