The position of Historical Documentation Specialist is an integral part of the “Trausch-project” at the University of Luxembourg. The project aims at studying the practices of doing history in the 20th century on the example of the Luxembourgian historian Gilbert Trausch (1931-2018). More specifically, the project, which is a collaboration between the Institute of History, the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History, and the Luxembourg Learning Centre, looks at the function of the research library of Gilbert Trausch as research tool and analogue information management system. Next to scientific publications, the project will produce digital public history output in form of a 3D-virtual model of the Trausch library.
