1 Postdoc position at the Department of History in the field of Iberian and Latin American History
YOUR TASKS
- teaching two courses per semester (4 hours per week) in the field of Latin American History
- examinations and supervision of students
- assumption of organizational tasks of the Institute, especially for the Department of Iberian and Latin American History
- implementation of own research projects, possibly financed by third parties
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in history or a related subject
- excellent PhD in Latin American history
- research experience in Latin America
- teaching experience in the field of Latin American history
- very good German language skills or the willingness to acquire them
- very good knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese

The position is available from the 01.04.2021 on a full-time basis. It is initially limited to 3 years with a possibility for extension for further 3 years. If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary is based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
