The Center for Historical Research of the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg, Russia, invites applications for two postdoctoral research positions within the current projects of the Center: "Transformation of Regimes of Governing Diversity: Political Identity on the Edge of Post-Imperial and Post-Colonial Paradigms" and "Social Anthropology of Institutions of the Late USSR." Only candidates with Russian citizenship are eligible.

Requierements:

Candidate of Sciences/PhD degree
by 39 years

Successful candidates will be engaged in one of the current research projects of the Center: "Transformation of Regimes of Governing Diversity: Political Identity on the Edge of Post-Imperial and Post-Colonial Paradigms" or "Social Anthropology of Institutions of the Late USSR."

There is one vacant position for each project.
Salary: 70 000 RUB (before taxes)

Successful candidates will get the opportunity to work in international research team in framework of the chosen research project, participate in research seminars of the Center (including the regular research seminar "Boundaries of History", https://spb.hse.ru/en/humart/history/seminar/) and use research resources of the Center (The Richard Stites Memorial Historical Library https://spb.hse.ru/en/humart/chr/rstites/, information resources and databases of HSE).
