A lecture series that explores the theme of industrial decline and examines the profound impact of the economic crisis of the mid-1970s, which triggered a series of political, social, and economic changes commonly referred to as deindustrialisation or structural change.

Confronting Decline. Deindustrialisation from a European Perspective

The first part of the series focuses on the decline of the steel industry and the manufacturing hubs of electronic consumer goods in Luxembourg, Germany and France.
