Waseda University invites applications for a full-time faculty position (with tenure or tenure-track) in the field of

Digital Humanities

with a possible research focus on

Digital History

at its School of International Liberal Studies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in the humanities or social sciences as well as expertise in computer science. A research specialization in either Social Media Analytics and Multimodal Communication, Spatial Data Analysis and Mapping, Digital Art History, Digital Musicology, Digital History, Digital Teaching and Learning, or Visual Analytics is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven record of interdisciplinary and collaborative research.
