On behalf of the North Carolina German Studies Seminar, I am proud to announce the fifth annual Konrad Jarausch Essay Prize for Advanced Graduate Students in Central European History. We invite any doctoral candidate at a North American university to submit an article or dissertation chapter. A committee will select a winner, who will be given a $1000 honorarium and the opportunity to present his or her work to our vibrant seminar.
