Nottingham Trent University is introducing a new MA in Holocaust and Genocide Studies (by research), which will focus not just on the history of genocide, but also on memory and representation (e.g. film, literature, memorials, exhibitions). At the core of the new MA will be a 20,000 word dissertation on a topic of the students' choice.

In order to apply for funding to subsidise students not least from
abroad, we would welcome expressions of interest. We believe that
applications for funding will have a better chance if potential MA
candidates are able to specify possible dissertation topics.

The new MA will be up and running as of October 2012. However, there is a possibility it may run earlier, depending on levels of interest.
