The Historical Sociolinguistics Network (HiSoN) is proud to announce that details for the next summer school have been released.

HiSoN Summer School 2023

It will take place on the Frisian Island of Amrum in Northern Germany from July 24–31, 2023. The annual HiSoN Summer School provides courses on a number of issues regarding the use, perception and ideology of language, targeted especially for young researchers and to everybody interested in Historical Sociolinguistics. It will be of interest not just to linguists but also historians and social scientist. For more details visit the website.
