- Writing of a dissertation
- Independent realisation and holding of lectures
- Realisation of research in the area of the history of the natural sciences or history of medicine; a main focus in early modern age or around 1900 is welcome
- Co-operation in the advandement of the center for history of science

Professional qualifications

- Very good completed diploma or master's degree in humanities or natural sciences
- Command of foreign languages
- Knowledge in history and philosophy of science

- Interests concerning issues and problems of historical research

Salary scheme of the Universitäten-KV (University Collective Agreement): B1

Minimum salary

The minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement and according to the classification scheme is EUR 1348,30 gross/month. This minimum salary may be higher due to previous employment periods eligible for inclusion and other earnings and remunerations.
