Doctoral candidate (PhD student) in Contemporary History

14 months fixed-term contract, renewable up to 3 years,
Full-time position (40h/week)
Student and employee status (36 months studies programme)
Area: (Contemporary History and History of Human Rights)
Your Role:
Prepare a doctoral thesis in Contemporary History with a focus on the history of Human Rights;
Assist Prof. Priem in her teaching activities (one to three hours per week);
Support Prof. Priem to develop and submit project proposals in the framework of FNR and other funding schemes;
Engage with presentations at international conferences and publish papers in international peer-reviewed journals;
Engage in academic activities and public history events (Forum Z) of the C2DH.

Your Profile:
Master Degree or equivalent in Contemporary History;
Enthusiasm for academic research and excellent writing skills;
Outstanding team spirit and communication skills;
Language skills: English, French and German.
