Vol. 8 gathers contributions of art historians and archaeologists which deal with topics ranging from the Renaissance to the 19th century. For the first time, the so-called Codex Stosch with architectural drawings by Giovanni Battista da Sangallo from the early 16th century is shown completely and in colour.
